Mining Cabinet Secretary- Hassan Joho stern warning  to social media users.

The former governor of Mombasa stated that he would not be persuaded to alter his position against Kenyans who criticize the government online during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Devki Iron Ore Pelletization Plant in Taita Taveta County on Tuesday, December 3.
The mining CS promised to take action against anyone who use the internet to disparage Ruto’s administration in a speech to a meeting that President William Ruto attended.

Joho claims that on Monday, December 2, he received multiple threats from Kenyans urging him to alter his views on internet users.

Joho said his response to the criticism stemmed from a recent conference he attended in the United States, when the majority of the questions he was asked focused on opinions Kenyans had shared on social media.

“People are saying Kenya is going down but let me tell you, Kenya is not sinking and I want to tell you we are on the ground to keep commenting on social media,” Joho said.

While voicing his indignation, Joho encouraged Kenyans to show their patriotism by emphasizing the advancements made by the current government in addition to the problems facing the nation.
How is it possible for an ignorant Kenyan to write on social media that Raila Odinga must fall? discussing AU. If even one of your own who has the potential to lead you says they must fall, how traitorous can you Kenyans be? “My friend, we’ll come get you,” he yelled.
Joho’s most recent remarks follow his criticism of indolent social media users who he accused of wasting too much time online criticizing President Ruto’s government rather than concentrating on developing the country.

However, many Kenyans instantly took notice of the former governor of Mombasa’s words on the internet, with some denouncing him for them.
